Call to Worship

Psalm 99:1-5 (ESV)

The Lord reigns; let the peoples tremble!  He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake!  The Lord is great in Zion; he is exalted over all the peoples.  Let them praise your great and awesome name!  Holy is he!  The King in his might loves justice.  You have established equity; you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.  Exalt the Lord our God; worship at his footstool!  Holy is he!

All Creatures of Our God and King

(listen here)

All creatures of our God and King,
lift up your voice and with us sing
alleluia, alleluia!
Thou burning sun with golden beam,
thou silver moon with softer gleam,
O praise him, O praise him, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

And all ye men of tender heart,
forgiving others, take your part
O sing ye, alleluia!
Ye who long pain and sorrow bear,
praise God and on him cast your care,
O praise him, O praise him, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

Let all things their Creator bless,
and worship him in humbleness,
O praise him, alleluia!
Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son,
and praise the Spirit, three in one,
O praise him, O praise him, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

Worshiping God by Confessing Our Sins

Gracious Creator, we seek your blessing, knowing that we have not earned it. In our faults, we seek your blessing. In our sins, we seek your forgiveness. In our weakness, we seek your strength. In our sorrow, we seek your consolation. In our trials, we seek your justice. In our pain, we seek your peace. Hear our prayers, O God, and make our hearts new.

Worshiping God by Confessing Our Hope

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Sovereign Over Us

(listen here)

There is strength within the sorrow, there is beauty in our tears
and You meet us in our mourning with a love that casts out fear

You are working in our waiting, sanctifying us
When beyond our understanding you're teaching us to trust

Your plans are still to prosper, you've not forgotten us
You're with us in the fire and the flood, faithful forever perfect in love
You are sov'reign over us

You are wisdom unimagined, who could understand Your ways
Reigning high above the heavens, reaching down in endless grace

You're the lifter of the lowly, compassionate and kind
You surround and You uphold me,  and Your promises are my delight

Your plans are still to prosper, you've not forgotten us
You're with us in the fire and the flood, faithful forever perfect in love
You are sov'reign over us

Even what the enemy means for evil, you turn it for our good
You turn it for our good, and for Your glory
Even in the valley You are faithful,
You're working for our good
You're working for our good
And for Your glory

Your plans are still to prosper, you've not forgotten us
You're with us in the fire and the flood, faithful forever perfect in love
You are sov'reign over us

Song Of Moses

(listen here)

Oh, the Lord, our strength and song, highest praise to Him belongs
Christ, the Lord, the conqu'ring King, Your name we raise Your triumphs sing

Praise the Lord, our mighty warrior!  Praise the Lord, the glorious One!
By His hand we stand in vict'ry and by His name we overcome

Though the storms of hell pursue, in darkest night we worship You
You divide the raging sea, from death to life You safely lead

Praise the Lord, our mighty warrior!  Praise the Lord, the glorious One!
By His hand we stand in vict'ry and by His name we overcome

All the saints and angels bow, hosts of heaven crying out
“Glory, glory to the King!  You reign for all eternity!”

Praise the Lord, our mighty warrior!  Praise the Lord, the glorious One!
By His hand we stand in vict'ry and by His name we overcome

The Lord shall reign forever and ever!

The Lord shall reign forever and ever!

The Lord shall reign forever and ever!

The Lord shall reign forever and ever!

Praise the Lord, our mighty warrior!  Praise the Lord, the glorious One!
By His hand we stand in vict'ry and by His name we overcome

Jesus, Master, Whose I Am

(listen here)

Jesus, Master, whose I am,
Purchased thine alone to be
By thy blood, O spotless Lamb,
Shed so willingly for me,
Let my heart be all thine own,
Let me live to thee alone.

Jesus, Master, I am thine:
Keep me faithful, keep me near;
Let thy presence in me shine
All my homeward way to cheer.
Jesus, at thy feet I fall,
O be thou my all in all.

Jesus, Master, whom I serve,
Though so feebly and so ill,
Strengthen hand and heart and nerve
All thy bidding to fulfil.
Open thou mine eyes to see
All the work thou hast for me.

Lord, thou needest not, I know,
Service such as I can bring;
Yet I long to prove and show
Full allegiance to my King.
Thou an honor art to me:
Let me be a praise to thee.
