The Nursery is provided at Westminister to help you enjoy your personal worship times. During Sunday School nursery is provided for infants and 1 year olds. During our Chrurch Services nursery is for infants and toddlers up to 3 years old. Infants and 1 year olds meet in the nursery, and 2 and 3 year olds meet in the Junior Church room. The Nursery is provided for many of our weekly events as well, check the events details to find out.
Childen's Sunday School
Children's Sunday School classes is a great place for your child to begin their faith journey. Sunday School is taken place during the Adult Sunday School hour on Sunday mornings at 9:15. There are four classes held:
Toddler: 2-3 year olds
Preschool: 4-5 year olds
Younger Elementary: Grades 1-3
Older Elementary: Grades 4-5
Children's Church
Children's Church for ages 4 through 5 years old offers worship through song, story time and hands-on experience. The children attend the first part of our worship service, and are then dismissed to Children's Church, which meets in the Adult Sunday School classroom.
Communicants Class
Our Communicants Class is a chance to clearly present to our older children what it means to be united in Christ and become a communing member of the church. While this class is typically targeted to children 12 to 16 years old, it is open to any child who is able to grasp and discuss these issues. After the class is over, each child will be engaged about where they individually stand in their relationship with Christ. The class usually last 6-8 weeks and is typically held once a year.
